Entry Level Safety
Grain elevators and storage facilities are high-risk environments where everyday tasks can expose workers to serious hazards, including engulfment, falls, dust explosions, and equipment injuries.
This foundational course introduces entry-level employees to the types of safety risks they may encounter at a grain storage site and the actions they can take to reduce the likelihood of harm. Through realistic, task-based scenarios, learners practice recognizing hazards, choosing preventative measures, and understanding safe responses during incidents.
The course builds awareness and safety decision-making skills that support — but do not replace — site-specific training. Three hours is the recommended time to complete this course.
